The photos in the Urban Flow series are scans, meaning that each photo tells the viewer about the story of 2 or 3 minutes. Therefore, they are slices of life, manifestations of time, going by relentlessly. The technique Magyar used for this series is identical with modern photo-finish systems applied in sporting events. So, these cityscapes are photo-finishes taken in an urban environment without a finish line and ranks.

The Squares are photos of non-existent places. Magyar assembled each Square from dozens of photos creating an illusion of infinite space with people being only tiny particles in a system they live in. Magyar created extremely high resolution images, allowing the viewer to survey each person close-up, yet, observing these city vertigoes at close range thus making it impossible to see it as a whole. This suggestion of being unable to have both an overall and an in-depth view at the same time is puzzling.

Stainless is a quintessence of Magyar's vision today. The photos depict subway trains photographed as they were pulling in at stunning speed to the stations deep below the city. The scene seems so familiar, but in Magyar's interpretation, the trains are transformed into chemically clean mock-ups, and the people traveling in them turn into future remnants of our time. The special technique developed by Magyar enabled the realization of these staggeringly unique photos.
