The mystery of da Vinciʼs, the emotion of Baconʼs, the 3 dimentional cubism of Picassoʼs, the sadness of Kahloʼs, the imaginary concept of Daliʼs, the playfulness of Miroʼs, these are my inspirations and influences that got me into this exhibition collection. WHO WOULD NOT BE TOUCHED BY THESE MASTERS IF YOU ARE AN ARTIST?
I used some of these mastersʼ elements, projection and approach and incorporated them to my works and the result is emotional, strong, intriguing and amusing but most of all, I was able to put my own identity on them. The use of cross-hatching method plus an occassional touch of pontielism coming from the tip of ink pens that shows the interacting and thick layering of lines
created an almost solid rendering of elements and projecting my visual ideas with just red, blue
and black produced a somber dark result that identifies my work.
