She finds the clay the source of endless fascination and wonder. Fok takes the form of human using the method of hand-building as she believes the first human was made in the hands of GOD. She uses the body form as a starting point for her personal explorations. The limitations of the form allow the artist to create highly expressive works by freeing herself from immediate practical concerns to where a process of instinct and intuition takes over. It is without doubt a figurative representation but somehow it is abstract as the artist has the idea of turning the clay surface into a painting canvas.
