Pandas are cute, simplistic and honest creatures. They act as a contrast to humans - who are more intelligent than pandas but often perform actions motivated by greed and self-interest. In a complex human society – where relationships are darkened by underlying conflicts between different individuals, pandas function to bring them closer together.

Humans have brought harm to the world and the environment. Although pandas have had a long history, they are now facing extinction. This serves to remind us that we have to protect our environment on a united front.

In my works, pandas serve as a character that can be representative of anybody. We all go through ups and downs in life – we experience similar emotions and the same situations.

I have a passion for wushu and books.
I have optimistic hopes for the world but am fearful of the future - of the unknown.
I am a hopeless romantic and I feel a sense of injustice when evil conquers over goodness.
I worry about the environment and feel a sense of awe for beauty.
I would like to find out who I am.

I would like to be a panda - simplistic, guileless and honest.
