Wong Chak Hung Hong Kong

Born 1963, Hong Yong
Lives in Hong Kong

Karin Weber Gallery artist Wong Chak Hung, is depicting the modern mood from a city man’s sense of touch with realistic approach, then showing a quiet mind and abstract imagery. His work can also be experienced on a minimalist and almost entirely poetic level as what we can feel in the canvas. All are working on an abstract platform but Wong’ ahistorical painting, dressed in a constant fashion to transgressing realism and abstraction, perpetuates the Chinese and western system of order and Tran spatiality in a more subtle and unique way.
