Buying from Us
We aim to provide an enjoyable, efficient and secure art buying experience, whether you are buying in person, or online, in Hong Kong, or from anywhere in the world.
Fair Pricing
Our prices are fair and transparent. Artworks are sourced directly from the artists, and we work hard to achieve fair prices for their work while retaining our competitive position. The prices in the gallery and on our website are the same. We are also happy to quote in your local currency on request.
Works on Approval
Some make decisions easily, others do not. If this is the case, with a 10% security deposit, we offer clients the opportunity to take the art work home to live with for a few days. If you like it, you keep it! If not, you can return the piece in its original condition with no obligation to buy. We do, however, ask for the return transportation fee to be covered by the client.
10 Day Right-of-Return
If, after 10 days of owning a painting, you find you don’t love the work, you may return it to the gallery, in its original condition, and we will refund the full purchase price. The return transportation fee will, however, be covered by the client.
Range of Payment Options
We accept all major credit cards, cash or cheques payable to “KWG Company Limited”. Bank transfers are encouraged and should be made to our HSBC account in Hong Kong. We will provide details on request. Flexible payment options may be arranged upon request. Please contact us directly to discuss your requirements.
Local and International Deliveries
Door to door delivery can be arranged to almost any international location and shipping expenses will be charged at cost. Transit insurance (to cover damage to the works en route) should be arranged by the client independently. The same applies to customs declarations and import duty payments where applicable.
Paintings are wrapped or rolled using protective materials. When necessary, bespoke crates are ordered to ensure artworks arrive in excellent condition. International shipping is arranged by air freight courier companies and therefore cannot be sent to a PO box address.
Local delivery will be arranged at your convenience. We ask that someone responsible is at home to take delivery of the artworks and sign for their acceptable condition upon arrival.
Certificates of Authenticity, Invoices and Artist’s Biographies
Karin Weber Gallery only sells original, authentic artwork. Each piece of art features the signature of the artist. When a work is bought, we issue an invoice, a certificate of authenticity signed on behalf of the gallery and the artist’s biography. We suggest you keep these important documents in a secure place for future reference. These documents will add value if the painting is ever resold.
Privacy
Our mailing list and your purchase history is for our eyes only. We will never pass your information on to a third party. We use your email and postal information solely for communications from our gallery.
