Shing Mun Reservoir is a pond in the reservoir of the New Territories of Hong Kong. It feeds the residents of the New Territories and Hong Kong Island. At the same time, it is also part of the Gin Drinker’s Line and played an important role in defending Hong Kong during World War II.

The artist’s recent creations have always revolved around the themes of Hong Kong’s historical buildings, memorial parks and wars, using stories from the past to reflect today’s changes.
