Ouyang was inspired by the pattern from vintage floor tiles in Chinese herbal medicine shops. She turned Chinese herbal medicine into natural dye to dye the fabric into different colours of green. The artist is very fond of the tile pattern. As a lot of old shops are being phased out, it is a work about memory and its fragility.
