For the past years, I have been working on the works with the inspirations from my lifelong memories. Either good ones or bad ones, those memories have a great impact in our lives. The memories we cherish encourage us or how the traumatic events put extra weight on our growth. I believe they stay with us as we grow and they become a part of us. But in recent years, I feel that those memories are being robbed from me and from everyone around. And it gets harder and harder to create memories to cherish or bear when the world around us is quite chaotic. Where there is oppression and no human rights, instead of fighting for it, it is allowed only to steal it back what once was mine. I hope this series of paintings stays as a record of these hard times and my attempts to steal the chances of making memories again.
